On February 10th, 2022, ASIMCO Camshaft Co., Ltd. and Ningbo Jiwang Information Technology Co., Ltd. joined hands again, and the leaders of both sides and members of the project team held a project kick-off meeting to announce the official start of the MES Phase II project of ASIMCO Camshaft.

Suzhou Branch, delivered a speech, thanking ASIMCO Camshaft for choosing Jiwang Technology again as a partner of digital transformation. The first phase of the MES project of ASIMCO Camshaft focuses on the frame and basic function building, which well achieves the due goal. The second phase of the project focuses on the function expansion, optimization and visual report development, which can realize value improvement. The headquarters of Jiwang attaches great importance to the MES Phase II project of ASIMCO Camshaft, and appoints the experienced executive director as the project leader to guarantee the implementation of this project, hoping to make ASIMCO Camshaft a model customer of Jiwang Suzhou Branch in the future.

        The project leader of Jiwang Technology gave a brief introduction to the MES Phase II project of ASIMCO Camshaft. The first phase project of ASIMCO Camshaft has completed the interconnection and digitization of equipment. This time, our company will develop the second phase project on the basis of the original project, and strive to achieve full digital coverage. In this project, the MES collects the data of the whole process production of ASIMCO Camshaft, monitors the real-time state of production, and comprehensively monitors the modules of personnel management, warehousing and logistics, order management, machining management, equipment management, quality management, resource management, Andon management, etc., so as to realize business standardization, agile manufacturing and transparent cost management.

         Chen Aiguo, General Manager of ASIMCO Camshaft, delivered a speech, saying that digital management is the inevitable course for enterprise developing. Since the implementation of MES Phase I, the efficiency of dealing with abnormal situations in the production site has been greatly improved. In the future, decisions should be made based on MES data in making daily production management such as equipment preventive maintenance, spare parts plan, equipment improvement, process optimization and employee skill assessment. Cutting tools, jigs, quality and logistics management are the key points in the implementation of the second phase of the project. He hoped that all departments will go all out and pool their efforts according to the target plan of the second phase of MES, and help the second phase of the project land quickly with the active cooperation of both parties.
