FAW Xichai Conducts Dedicated Production Line and Parts Inspection-Free Audit for ASIMCO Camshaft

On September 8, 2015, Director Wu Hubao of FAW Xichai and two other colleagues conducted a one-day audit of the production line and an inspection exemption audit for parts at ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. Since 2011, in order to ensure that suppliers’ dedicated production lines meet Xichai’s requirements in terms of quality assurance, production capacity, and on-site management, thereby truly demonstrating the suppliers’ core manufacturing capabilities, Xichai has institutionalized the audit of suppliers’ dedicated production lines as a long-term practice. To this end, our company established a leading group for the management of the 6DL Camshaft Dedicated Production Line, rigorously implementing all requirements for dedicated-line management in accordance with customer standards, continuously conducting self-inspections and self-improvements, and consistently achieving excellent results in each audit.
This audit was conducted strictly in accordance with the Xichai supplier’s dedicated audit form and exemption audit form, with a focus on verifying the company’s quality assurance capabilities, production process control capabilities, and product compliance. A comprehensive review was carried out on the company’s procurement process, resource management, training process, equipment management, tooling management, laboratory management, nonconforming product control, and other aspects. In addition, a careful and thorough on-site audit was conducted on the company’s 6DL Camshaft Production Line. After comprehensive evaluation, the final score was 97.49%, the highest score in all previous audits, successfully passing the audit, and the physical quality fully meets the drawing requirements.
