ASIMCO Camshaft Wins FAW-Volkswagen’s “Outstanding Power Strategic Cooperation Award”

The 2015 FAW-Volkswagen Supplier Strategy Seminar was held in Chongqing on December 4, with the theme “Working Together for a Win-Win Future.” FAW-Volkswagen currently has more than 200 suppliers, among whom 55 core suppliers were invited to attend this seminar, including ASIMCO Camshaft.
During the meeting, senior management of Shanghai FAW-Volkswagen Red Engine Co., Ltd. reviewed the company’s 2015 performance in new-product development, production and delivery, cost optimization, and supply-chain development, and outlined the key priorities for each department in 2016. They urged suppliers to enhance their competitive edge by focusing on “quality, technology, innovation, cost, delivery, and service.”
ASIMCO Camshaft, as a global supplier to FPT, has been supplying components to FPT since the company’s early days. Currently, ASIMCO is the supplier of Camshafts for FPT’s C9 and C13 engines. In 2015, ASIMCO also developed Camshafts for the C9-CNG and C11 engines, which are expected to be launched on the market after July 2016, thereby boosting FPT’s business volume. Over the years of cooperation with FPT, ASIMCO Camshaft has earned high recognition from FPT for its superior product quality, 100% on-time delivery, and rapid after-sales service response. At the conference, ASIMCO Camshaft was awarded the “Outstanding Power Strategic Cooperation Award” by FPT.
