ASIMCO Camshaft Co., Ltd. Successfully Passes Foton Cummins’ Annual Supplier Audit

From June 12 to 15, 2017, Mr. Wu Guang, SQI Manager, and Mr. Zhao Yushun, SQI Engineer, from Beiqi Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (BFCEC) visited ASIMCO Camshaft Co., Ltd. for the annual process audit and product audit. ASIMCO Camshaft Co., Ltd. is an ISF/ISG Camshaft supplier for BFCEC, and the two companies have maintained a cooperative relationship for more than ten years. The company’s three directors in charge of technology, production, and sales attended the customer audit.
Foton experts reviewed ASIMCO Camshaft Company’s quality performance at BFCEC, acknowledged ASIMCO Camshaft’s performance indicators at Foton Cummins, such as PPM, incoming inspection pass rate, and on-site BIS issues, and urged our company not to be complacent, to aim for zero PPM as the standard of advanced factories, and to keep up the good work and strive for even better results.
During the technical exchange on the product, the two teams engaged in in-depth discussions and reached consensus on material selection, product process development, process control, poka-yoke design, and nonconforming-product control. Foton Cummins expressed satisfaction with our company’s product-process-development capabilities and commended our long-standing, constructive collaboration with the Cummins design team in delivering high-quality products and services to end customers.
During the product process audit, the Cummins expert team conducted a detailed and rigorous review of ASIMCO’s equipment inspection, process records, gauge management, on-site 5S management, nonconforming product traceability, supplier management, and tooling management, with all inspection items in the product audit passing 100%.
At the final meeting of the audit summary, the management of ASIMCO Camshaft Co., Ltd. expressed their gratitude to the Cummins expert team for their meticulous audit, and thanked Foton Cummins for its strong support and guidance in ASIMCO Camshaft’s product quality management. ASIMCO Camshaft will be customer-demand oriented, address shortcomings in quality control and management, and provide high-quality products and services to all customers, including Cummins, to ensure customer satisfaction.
