ASIMCO Camshaft Successfully Conducts Fire, Evacuation, and Environmental Emergency Response Drill

Adhering to the principle of giving equal emphasis to prevention and emergency response, we conduct early prevention of potential accidents and formulate corresponding emergency rescue measures; ensure that all employees understand the requirements for fire-fighting, escape emergency response, and environmental spill emergency handling, enhance their safety awareness, strengthen their self-protection capabilities, and master the skills to respond to emergencies. On July 20, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., ASIMCO Camshaft conducted a fire-fighting, escape, and environmental emergency response drill. At the command of Ji Youqun, the Deputy General Manager of Production and the overall commander of the drill, the fire drill, the emergency escape drill, and the environmental spill emergency response drill commenced:
If a casting employee discovers a fire, they shall immediately report it to the department head upon confirmation. The department shall, on the one hand, organize on-site fire-fighting efforts and, on the other hand, report the incident to the company’s safety department and company leadership.
Upon receiving the alarm signal, company leaders and the head of the safety department promptly arrived at the accident site and activated the emergency response plan.
The on-site commander, based on the situation at the scene, issues orders for personnel evacuation, on-site search and rescue, and fire suppression and self-rescue; concurrently, an emergency response order is issued for lubricant leakage.
The security team sets up a cordon to prevent unauthorized entry;
All employees promptly evacuated from the east side of the casting workshop via the safety passage; following a headcount, all personnel were confirmed to have swiftly assembled at the designated assembly point within the prescribed time.
Rescue personnel promptly entered the fire site to conduct search-and-rescue operations and provide medical assistance to the injured;
The fire suppression team immediately commenced fire-fighting operations.
Following the drill, General Manager Ji provided feedback on the exercise, emphasizing that the shortcomings identified during the drill should be used to refine and revise the emergency response plan, ensuring it meets the company’s requirements.
Through this fire safety and fire emergency evacuation drill, as well as the environmental emergency response exercise, employees’ fire safety skills, self-protection awareness, and environmental stewardship have been effectively enhanced, the company’s ability to respond to emergencies has been strengthened, and normal production and operational order has been safeguarded.
