ASIMCO Camshaft Invited to Attend Dongfeng Cummins 2018 Supplier Conference

The Dongfeng Cummins Supplier Conference, themed “Building Momentum for Change and Achieving Future Success through Quality,” was held in the mountain city of Chongqing on November 29, 2018. Chen Aiguo, General Manager of the company, attended the conference at the invitation of the organizers. The event was chaired by Wan Hongyan, Director of Procurement at Dongfeng Cummins, with welcoming remarks delivered by Wang Kaijun, Executive Deputy General Manager. Liu Zhili, Deputy General Manager, presented a business summary and outlined the vision of “Sincere Cooperation for Win-Win Outcomes under China VI Standards.” Wan Hongyan then delivered the Procurement Work Report, followed by a presentation from General Manager Xu Daqian, who shared Dongfeng Cummins’ three-year strategic plan and articulated the company’s expectations for its suppliers.
A total of 102 suppliers were invited to this meeting, with more than 100 attendees. The meeting reviewed the achievements attained in 2018, analyzed the situation and challenges facing 2019, and outlined the expectations and requirements for suppliers under the China VI/Stage IV projects for 2019. During the VIP project-focused discussion session held in the afternoon, General Manager Chen Aiguo delivered a keynote address on the development of new China VI products.
