Strengthening Quality Management and Pursuing Excellence – ASIMCO Camshaft’s Special Training on “Quality Management” Concludes Successfully

In order to thoroughly implement total quality management and enhance the problem-analysis and problem-solving abilities of engineering and technical quality personnel, from October to November 2021, ASIMCO Camshaft commissioned Yangzhou Lande Management Consulting Co., Ltd. to launch a 24-hour special training program on “Quality Management.”
This specialized training program is divided into three main topics: Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Quality Problem Analysis and Resolution (8D).
In the classroom, quality management expert Mr. Xiong Dingwei employed a blended approach that combined theoretical instruction with real-world case studies. Through systematic theoretical learning and targeted classroom discussions and interactive teaching, participants gained a clearer, more concrete understanding of quality management methodologies. By drawing on actual case studies from ongoing quality improvement projects, he helped them grasp, in a clear and accessible manner, how to apply these tools, the underlying thinking behind them, and their relevance to everyday quality management practices.
Through the concerted efforts of all participants, every trainee successfully completed the training program. At the conclusion of the course, a graduation ceremony was held, during which outstanding trainees and the best team were recognized based on their accumulated points and overall performance, and awards were presented to encourage continued excellence. Du Wenwen, Director of Quality, summarized the training session, sharing her insights and takeaways from the program. She urged all attendees to apply the knowledge they had acquired flexibly in the company’s future quality management activities, addressing weaknesses and closing gaps, embedding continuous quality improvement into every aspect of their work, and thereby elevating both product quality and the overall level of quality management to new heights.
Although the training was brief, learning is a lifelong journey, and what remains for each participant is the practical application of the knowledge acquired and the tangible improvements it enables. Through exchange, collaboration, and shared insights, participants not only gained new knowledge but also experienced the joy of learning and growing together!
