Striving Forward and Achieving a Win-Win Future — The First Session of the First Congress of Employee Representatives of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. Concludes Successfully

On the morning of January 22, 2022, ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. held the First Session of the First Congress of Employees (Members), which was chaired by Nie Xiaojing, Director of the Human Resources Department. A total of 65 people attended the meeting, including 57 employee representatives and 8 non-voting attendees.
At the meeting, General Manager Chen Aiguo delivered an administrative work report titled “Press On with Determination and Achieve a Win-Win Future.” The report provided a thorough review of the company’s performance in 2021, acknowledged the major achievements attained over the past year, and analyzed the gaps and shortcomings in our work. In addition, General Manager Chen outlined a comprehensive plan for 2022, setting forth new expectations and requirements regarding the areas where we still fall short, the current situation facing the enterprise, as well as the opportunities and challenges ahead, and laying out key priorities for next year while carefully mapping out the next steps. The meeting reviewed and approved the Administrative Work Report, the Employee Handbook, the Three-Party Employment Contracts, and the Resolutions Adopted at the Conference, and successfully concluded the election of the new tripartite trade union committee.
The congress outlined the guiding principles for the future development and strengthening of the trade union: guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implementing the spirit of the Fifth and Sixth Plenary Sessions of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Party branch and higher-level trade unions, the union will focus on serving the overall work agenda, serving employees, and safeguarding rights and maintaining stability; take deepening reform and innovation as the driving force; ensure overall improvement in the union’s performance; and, closely centering on the ambitious goal of building the enterprise into a “leading Chinese automotive components group with global influence,” unite and lead the broad workforce to make new and greater contributions to promoting the enterprise’s steady, healthy development and harmonious stability.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Zhou Quan, Secretary of the Company’s Party Branch, delivered a speech outlining specific requirements for thoroughly implementing the spirit of this Employees’ Congress. He urged all staff to clearly understand the current situation, seize opportunities, strengthen accountability, rigorously ensure effective execution, and steadily and effectively advance the comprehensive implementation of all tasks. He also set forth clear directives on strengthening Party building, uniting hearts and minds, and proactively fostering a stable and harmonious environment for development.
At around 12:00 noon, the conference concluded triumphantly with the rousing and resounding “Internationale”!
