Li Yong is a team leader on the ISG production line in the metal machining workshop. Since joining ASIMCO Camshaft, he has always complied with rules and regulations, maintained an optimistic and ambitious attitude, and upheld a rigorous and meticulous work style. He works diligently and without complaint. In his daily life, he upholds the fine traditions of hard work, simplicity, thrift, endurance, and willingness to help others. He always conducts himself with integrity and works assiduously, holding himself to high standards at all times and setting an exemplary example. For several consecutive years, he has been recognized as a “Production Expert” and has earned unanimous praise from both company leaders and employees.
The external cylindrical grinding process is a critical step in product manufacturing. Since joining the company, Li Yong has, through diligent study and a solid grasp of machine tool knowledge, earned the reputation of an “expert” in external cylindrical grinding. For every incoming workpiece, he meticulously inspects the quality of the center hole; if any center hole is found to be defective, he promptly rectifies it using tools such as files. Processing 120 workpieces each day, he verifies the condition of all 120—leaving nothing overlooked—and maintains strict quality control. Over many years, his consistent diligence, meticulous attention to detail, and patience have ensured that every piece he processes fully meets the company’s quality standards.
In 2022, due to the planning and reorganization of the production line, Comrade Li Yong was assigned to learn how to operate new equipment. He demonstrated a conscientious attitude toward learning, proactively seeking guidance from process engineers and experienced senior technicians. In just one week, he was already able to perform product machining independently, without assistance. After more than three months of training, Li Yong is now capable of resolving many common issues on his own and consistently maintaining high machining quality.
Li Yong’s spare time has never been about leisure; instead, he seizes every opportunity to continuously enhance his skills and knowledge. He approaches learning with utmost seriousness, not only actively supporting the factory’s operations but also consistently engaging in self-study. He frequently draws on practical production experience to reflect, explore, and distill insights, meticulously keeping notes and documenting his thoughts and takeaways. Li Yong’s rigorous and conscientious work ethic inspires those around him, and his eagerness to learn sets an outstanding example for all employees.
