On July 7, 2022, Hou Shijie, Purchasing Director of Foton Cummins, and his delegation of three people visited ASIMCO Camshaft. Chen Aiguo, General Manager of the company, extended a warm welcome on behalf of the company, and the two sides had extensive exchanges.
Vice General Manager Zhou Quan gave an overview of ASIMCO’s Camshaft business and the progress of new project development, while Vice President Dai Hongxing outlined future technological trends in Camshafts, with a particular focus on the cost and design aspects of modular Camshafts. Guided by the principle of “working together, facing challenges head-on, and achieving a win-win future,” General Manager Hou first provided an overview of Cummins’ global operations to ASIMCO Camshaft, highlighting Foton Cummins’ sales performance and its 2022 challenge targets. General Manager Hou stated that 2022 has been a difficult year for the automotive components industry, and that ASIMCO Camshaft must remain steadfast in its commitment. Foton Cummins will work hand-in-hand with all suppliers to overcome these challenges and move forward together.
After the meeting, accompanied by General Manager Chen Aiguo, Mr. Hou visited the modular Camshaft Workshop to learn about our company’s achievements in production intelligence and automation, and also put forward improvement suggestions for our on-site 5S and basic environment.
During this period, Mr. Hou from Foton Cummins also presented a belated recognition for the Camshaft due to the pandemic, personally awarding the trophy. ASIMCO Camshaft was honored with the “Best Cooperation Award” for 2021! ASIMCO Camshaft and Foton Cummins have always maintained a strong partnership, and this award underscores the strategic nature of their collaboration. Mr. Hou stated that in 2021, ASIMCO Camshaft provided substantial support to Foton Cummins in terms of product cost, quality, and supply assurance, and he expressed his heartfelt gratitude for ASIMCO Camshaft’s efforts.
