ASIMCO Camshaft Successfully Selected as a “Jiangsu Province Internet Benchmark Factory”

On September 6, 2022, ASIMCO Camshaft’s application project for the “Benchmark Factory for Lean Manufacturing of Camshafts on the Industrial Internet” was successfully included in the “Jiangsu Province Industrial Internet Demonstration Project (Benchmark Factory Category) List” after undergoing procedures such as local recommendation, expert review, on-site verification and Q&A, and online publicity. A total of 79 companies across the province were selected.
The ASIMCO Camshaft “Camshaft Lean Manufacturing Industrial Internet Benchmark Factory” project adopts digital modeling for overall factory design, process flows, and layout, leverages industrial on-site sensing data integration technology, and focuses on product processes, technology, production, and inspection. It deeply integrates intelligent equipment and systems across all lifecycle stages to build an industrial internet benchmark factory management platform that incorporates a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Device-to-Device Integration System (DAS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management System (PLM), Zero Defect Management System (ZDM), Human Resources and Payroll Management System (HR), Office Automation Platform (OA), and BI Analytics Decision Support Platform, thereby realizing innovative applications of the industrial internet in discrete manufacturing.

This has not only effectively enhanced product quality and production efficiency, reduced various production and management costs, and shortened delivery times, but also established a strong competitive advantage in the global market.
