Enhancing Grassroots Skill Levels and Promoting Enterprise Talent Development — ASIMCO Camshaft Successfully Completes the Recognition of Skill Levels under the New Apprenticeship System

To accelerate the development of a skilled workforce and enhance the relevance and effectiveness of skills training, since November 26, 2021, with the support and guidance of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, we have actively explored new models of school–enterprise cooperation. In collaboration with Yizheng Technician College, we organized a year-long enterprise-based new apprenticeship training program. Over the past year, through proactive communication and close coordination between the company and the college, we delivered a total of 52 sessions of training and mentoring covering both foundational professional theory and hands-on practical skills. Adopting a mentorship-driven, work-integrated learning approach and making full use of modern information technologies such as the internet and WeChat platforms, we have optimized the skills-development mechanism and enhanced the overall competence of our employees.
On December 3–4, 2022, ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. and Yizheng Technical Institute successfully conducted the skill-level certification examination for the multi-process CNC lathe adjuster (intermediate level) under the new enterprise apprenticeship program. A total of 35 trainees took part in both the theoretical and practical assessments. To ensure the smooth execution of this certification process, the company and the institute made thorough preparations in advance, meticulously following the requirements for vocational skill-level certification in all aspects, including the development of the examination plan, verification of trainee information, examination arrangements, and epidemic prevention and control. Each assessor performed their duties, the supervision team maintained strict oversight, and video monitoring was implemented throughout the entire examination, ensuring a rigorous and well-organized process.
This vocational skills assessment serves as a validation of the outcomes of the inaugural enterprise-based new-model apprenticeship training program. Moving forward, the company will further deepen its collaboration with educational institutions, expand its talent-development efforts, and deliver systematic, specialized training programs in automation, digitalization, and intelligent technologies. These initiatives will equip frontline employees with the advanced production techniques and operational skills that the company truly needs, thereby supporting the organization’s strategic objectives of high-end and intelligent transformation.
