Following its recognition as a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprise in Yangzhou City in early November, ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. was officially recognized as a provincial-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SME for 2022 on November 21, 2022, after passing the review organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
The company, owing to its outstanding financial performance and operational results for the 2019–2021 fiscal years, as well as its excellent achievements in the following areas:
Specialization: The company has been engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of engine Camshafts for nearly 30 years. Its flagship product, the Camshaft, is supplied to major leading enterprises in the engine industry, such as Weichai Power, Cummins Global, Iveco Global, FAW Sino-Canadian, Shanghai Diesel Engine, and Sinotruk. Last year, revenue from the principal business accounted for 98.25% of total operating revenue, with an average growth rate of 19% over the past two years.
Precision and sophistication: The company has obtained certifications under the IATF 16949 quality management system, the ISO 14001 environmental management system, and the Integration of Informatization and Industrialization Management System. Its core business is supported by information systems, with an ERP-centric operations management platform, a PLM-centric R&D and design platform, and an MES-centric smart manufacturing platform in place.
Specialization: The enterprise is one of the province’s 16 advanced manufacturing clusters; it owns the proprietary brand “ACY” and has maintained the top position in the national medium- and heavy-duty truck segment for many consecutive years; the export share of its flagship products has been increasing year by year.
Innovation Capability: The company has a dedicated R&D center equipped with the design, development, and matching capabilities for Camshafts used in commercial vehicles. It has conducted in-depth research on the R&D, manufacturing, and application of Camshafts made from chilled alloy cast iron, chilled nodular cast iron, high-strength nodular cast iron, steel materials, and composite Camshafts, and maintains close collaboration with internationally renowned engine R&D centers, successfully designing and developing multiple high-end engine Camshafts. The company has been awarded the titles of “National High-tech Enterprise,” “Engineering Technology Research Center,” and “Yangzhou City Recognized Enterprise Technology Center,” and has been continuously recognized as an “Outstanding Enterprise of Yizheng City” for many years. Currently, the company holds 30 valid patents, including 5 invention patents and 25 utility model patents.
