To further promote the positive and uplifting spirit of the company’s engineering and technical team, highlight the vigor and vitality of young employees, and demonstrate the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. organized a camping team-building event titled “Carrying Forward the Spirit of May Fourth and Embracing Spring” in May 2023. The event was held along the picturesque banks of the Yangtze River, a newly popular check-in spot that also serves as a vital hub for river transport in Yizheng, endowing the location with profound economic and historical significance.
The event began with the Human Resources Department leading participants on a scenic tour along the majestic riverside, during which they shared historical anecdotes such as the Yangtze River’s shipping ports and Wu Zixu’s crossing of the river, thereby deepening everyone’s understanding of Yizheng’s history and culture. The subsequent picnic-and-chat session used real-life examples, such as “production role models,” to encourage young employees to embrace the spirit of the May Fourth Movement—patriotism, progress, democracy, and science—and to align their work with these core values in order to serve the enterprise and contribute their efforts to building a better life and a healthier environment.
At the conclusion of the event, participants spontaneously collected and disposed of the litter and debris generated, and proactively cleaned up pollutants along the route, earning praise and recognition from passersby. This demonstrated the company’s longstanding commitment to environmental protection and helped enhance the natural beauty of the riverside area.
