The Party Branch of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. Held a Meeting for the Election of Additional Branch Committee Members and Secretary

The Party branch of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. currently has 19 party members, and its branch committee consists of three members. According to the Party Constitution, the term of office of this branch committee will expire on February 20, 2026. Due to personnel transfers, two seats on the branch committee are vacant. To ensure the orderly conduct of the branch’s work, the branch committee held a general meeting of party members on the morning of May 25, 2023, following deliberation and study, to elect additional members to the branch committee.
The congress was scheduled to have 19 Party members with voting rights, of whom 17 were actually present and entitled to vote. In accordance with the Party Constitution, a secret ballot and a proportional representation system were adopted. The vote counts for the candidates were as follows: Ren Wenyuan received 15 votes, Zhang Jinbao received 16 votes, Liu Ting received 13 votes, Zhou Fupeng received 4 votes, alternate candidate Wang Longfei received 2 votes, and Ge Hongbing received 1 vote. Based on the Election Procedures and the vote totals, Ren Wenyuan, Zhang Jinbao, and Liu Ting were elected as members of the branch committee.
On the afternoon of May 25, the newly elected members of the branch committee held their first meeting, at which Ren Wenyuan was elected as the Party branch secretary, and Zhang Jinbao and Liu Ting were assigned the roles of organizational officer and publicity officer, respectively.
All committee members elected in this election have undergone political review and investigations confirming they have no record of disciplinary or criminal violations; the election process was transparent, open, and fair. The results of the election for the new branch secretary have been submitted to the higher-level Party committee for approval. The newly elected branch committee members must cultivate a sense of courage in taking responsibility and dedication, strive and work diligently in their respective posts, better serve the enterprise and the general public, and set an exemplary standard befitting Party members.
