ASIMCO Camshaft Holds Fire Emergency Evacuation Drill

To enhance employees’ safety awareness and their ability to respond effectively to emergencies, as well as to deepen their understanding of fire safety principles and familiarize them with fire evacuation procedures, the company conducted a fire and evacuation emergency drill on July 26, 2023, in accordance with its annual emergency response exercise plan. A total of more than 60 employees participated in the drill.

This drill was divided into two phases: theoretical training and live-action practice. During the theoretical training, the drill commander explained self-rescue methods and escape techniques in the event of a fire, and provided a detailed briefing on the proper use of dry powder fire extinguishers for each employee. In the live-action phase, Group A carried out orderly evacuation and rescue operations with seamless coordination, responding swiftly to the early warning signal and safely evacuating to the designated assembly point. Personnel involved in fire suppression were able to react promptly to fire alarm signals and, following established firefighting procedures, successfully extinguished the thick smoke and intense flames.
This drill enhanced employees’ awareness of fire prevention, strengthened the development of the four capabilities and the “four understandings and four skills” in fire safety, and honed the team’s ability to collaborate and respond effectively to fires and other emergencies in real-world scenarios. By seamlessly integrating theory with practice, the drill not only validated the operational feasibility of all procedures outlined in the company’s fire emergency plan but also reinforced the emergency response capabilities and awareness of fire rescue among emergency personnel, thereby providing robust assurance for the company’s smooth operations and safe production.
