Good News! ASIMCO’s Camshaft Wins Foton Cummins’ 2023 Zero-Defect Excellent Supplier Award

On December 22, 2023, the second World-Class Supply Chain Quality Forum of Beijing Foton Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (BFCEC) was successfully held at BFCEC in Beijing. The forum was conducted both online and on-site at BFCEC, with ASIMCO Camshaft attending the on-site forum as a representative of outstanding suppliers.
Among the 13 category suppliers, ASIMCO Camshaft stood out after BFCEC conducted on-site supplier evaluations in 2023 and scored the supplier across 10 key assessment areas, including In-plant ppm, BIS ppm, and IQC Rate. ASIMCO Camshaft was awarded the title of BFCEC’s 2023 Zero-Defect Excellent Supplier and became a member of the “BFCEC Zero-Defect Supplier Club.”
To achieve the goal of “high-target-driven, zero-defect supply chain,” Foton Cummins, one of China’s first World Lighthouse Factories, not only shared cutting-edge management concepts at this forum—covering such areas as “supplier quality performance and supplier capabilities,” “smart manufacturing,” “supplier change management,” and “capacity management”—but also facilitated exchanges and knowledge-sharing on zero-defect supplier practices. Jiang Xiaoxiang, Director of Procurement at Foton Cummins, commented on the forum’s atmosphere: “Despite Beijing’s exceptionally severe cold—a rarity in a decade—nothing could dampen the enthusiasm of Foton Cummins’ suppliers for continuous quality improvement.”
