On the afternoon of April 17, 2024, Du Wenwen, General Manager of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd., led a delegation from Huaiyin Institute of Technology to visit our company. Representatives from the Yizheng Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the Yizheng Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the Science and Technology Town Mayor Group also attended the visit. Following the meeting, both sides exchanged warm greetings and engaged in fruitful discussions.
Executive Vice President Qian Jun began by providing an overview of the company, its key clients, and its new product initiatives. He emphasized the company’s longstanding commitment to attracting and developing technically skilled talent, noting that mechanical engineering professionals have always been at the core of the organization. Upon onboarding, all recent graduates are placed in a tailored development program designed to align with their individual strengths and personality profiles. The company systematically monitors and assesses employees’ adaptability and internship progress at each stage, making timely adjustments to the probationary training curriculum to ensure a swift transition into the workplace.
During the visit, Gao Shangbing, President of Huaiyin Institute of Technology, expressed admiration for the company’s advanced digital and intelligent equipment in its production workshops, commended the company’s role as a benchmark and model for industrial internet applications in Yizheng, and expressed hope that further cooperation could be fostered in areas such as student recruitment, employment, and internship programs. Sun Jinsong from the Employment Office conducted an in-depth analysis and discussion on recent trends in the job market, local talent development, and the skill requirements for positions across various industries, with the aim of establishing a platform for matching employers and job seekers and gaining timely insights into industry hiring needs.
Finally, both the university and the enterprise expressed their hope to further strengthen cooperation in the years ahead, aligning their respective needs and aspirations to jointly explore new mechanisms for talent development, broaden the scope of university–enterprise collaboration, and truly achieve resource sharing, complementary strengths, and coordinated development.
