Looking to the Future, Advancing with Intelligence — A Visit to the School of Mechanical Engineering at Jiangsu University

On June 7, 2024, ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. hosted 80 students from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Jiangsu University. Qian Jun, Executive Vice President, personally welcomed the teachers and students and extended a warm welcome to their visit.
Before the visit, students received training in the exhibition hall on safety precautions and an overview of the tour route. Guided by the reception staff, they first viewed the exhibits on display in the hall and learned about the development history of the Camshaft Company. They then entered the production and machining workshop, where General Manager Qian continuously explained to them the different types of Camshafts, the production status, equipment operation, and goods receipt and shipment procedures. He provided detailed explanations for each step of the process, from raw material procurement to production, machining, inspection, and shipment. The students showed great interest in the new automated production lines and expressed that direct exposure to the production site helped them better define their research topics and future career plans. This hands-on experience allowed them to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby enhancing their professional expertise.

As the visit was drawing to a close, Mr. Qian also briefed the students on the current state of development and employment prospects in the machinery industry, encouraging them to study their specialized subjects diligently, stay abreast of industry trends and developments, actively engage with enterprises to gain insights into cutting-edge manufacturing technologies, and proactively identify and seize promising career paths.
