On February 17, Chen Xi, Vice Chairman of the Yangzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, led a delegation to Yizheng to conduct a field visit and research activity titled “United Hearts Warm Enterprises: Supporting a Strong Start for the Economy.” Zhao Yulong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Yangzhou Municipal CPPCC; Chen Rongjin, Director of the Economic and Science & Technology Committee; Liu Chunhua, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Yizheng Municipal CPPCC; Chen Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman; and Chen Hongjun, Member of the Party Group and Secretary-General, also took part in the event.

Chen Xi pointed out that the automotive and auto-parts industry in Yizheng enjoys broad prospects for development but also faces significant challenges. Enterprises should remain steadfast in their confidence in growth, continue to increase investment in innovation, and enhance their core competitiveness; relevant government departments should take proactive measures, strengthen policy support, optimize the business environment, and help enterprises overcome difficulties; and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference should fully leverage its institutional strengths to build effective channels of communication between government and enterprises, thereby supporting high-quality enterprise development and jointly driving a strong start for Yizheng’s economy.
The research team also conducted a survey on the establishment and operation of committee member studios in our city, as well as the translation of履职 (performance of duties) outcomes into practical results.
