ASIMCO Camshaft: No. 1 in national commercial vehicle segment sales for three consecutive years

Since 1993, ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ASIMCO Camshaft) has been professionally engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of engine Camshafts. Currently, its main products are concentrated in the medium- and heavy-duty truck segment of commercial vehicle Camshafts, with an annual production capacity of over 500,000 Camshaft blanks and 1.2 million finished Camshafts. Among them, chill ductile iron casting, chill hollow casting technology, and modular Camshaft technology are at the internationally advanced level. The company has ranked first in sales in the national commercial vehicle (medium- and heavy-duty truck) segment for three consecutive years, with a market share exceeding 25%.

According to Qian Jun, Director of Human Resources and Administration at the company, ASIMCO Camshaft was among the first batch of enterprises to settle in the Yizheng Economic Development Zone of Jiangsu Province in 2004. Over the years, the company has adopted an excellence performance management model and implemented the IATF16949 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, and the integration of IT application and industrialization management system. Its core business utilizes information systems, including ERP for business management, OA for office operations, MES for manufacturing execution, and PLM for product lifecycle management.

The company leverages scientific management practices and a commitment to continuous improvement to enhance its competitiveness, while regarding value creation for customers as its enduring business mission. It currently supplies major domestic and international engine manufacturers, including CUMMINS (global), IVECO (global), Foton Cummins, Dongfeng Cummins, Weichai, FAW Xichai, SAIC Fiat Hongyan, Nanwei Ke, Guangxi Cummins, Shangchai, Sinotruk, Hualing, Quanchai, and Yunnei, and has become a strategic or key partner for Camshaft components. Its products are primarily exported to France, the United Kingdom, Japan, the United States, Argentina, India, Brazil, Russia, and other countries.

In recent years, the company has placed great emphasis on technological innovation and the creation, protection, and commercialization of intellectual property. ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd., as a “Smart Upgrade and Digital Transformation” enterprise in Jiangsu Province, is steadily advancing on the path of promoting intelligent manufacturing transformation and digital transformation, and accelerating the development of industrial informatization. In June this year, it was awarded the titles of Jiangsu Provincial Internet Benchmark Factory, Yangzhou Smart Factory, and Smart Workshop, passed the 3A standard certification for the integration of informatization and industrialization, and was commended by the Yizheng Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, receiving a special reward and subsidy of RMB 4.15 million.
