In recent years, in response to evolving market dynamics, our company has embraced the prevailing trends and established a new collaboration with FPT in the castings sector. This partnership has significantly expanded our production capacity.
Recently, ASIMCO Yizheng Camshaft Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “ASIMCO”) entered into a significant strategic partnership with FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies), a globally renowned powertrain manufacturer. This project is an FPT mass-production initiative that was initiated due to FPT’s internal cost-reduction needs, under the leadership of the company’s management and sales department, thereby facilitating collaboration between ASIMCO and FPT. The overall market size of this project is approximately RMB 18 million, and ASIMCO has currently secured a 50% share of the NEF-series engine casting project, marking a major breakthrough for ASIMCO in the high-end casting sector.
On November 19, 2024, Mr. Du, General Manager of ASIMCO, personally traveled to Turin, Italy, where he formally signed the project designation letter with FPT’s Procurement Director at IVECO headquarters. The NEF project under this collaboration comprises a total of 12 part numbers, including 5 models from the NEF4 series and 7 from the NEF6 series, with an annual demand of approximately 60,000 units. These products will be primarily used in FPT’s next-generation commercial engines, meeting the European market’s demand for high-performance power systems.
