To further enhance the management skills and professional competence of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd.’s managerial staff and strengthen their leadership and influence, the company organized the “2020 Management Personnel Capability Enhancement” training program. This program was planned and organized by the Human Resources Department and officially launched on September 18, 2020. Mr. Li Gang, a senior lecturer from Nanjing Yidian Tong, was specially invited to deliver lectures to the trainees. The training program has received high attention from the company’s senior management. General Manager Chen Aiguo personally attended the opening ceremony, expressed high expectations for the participating trainees, and set clear requirements: he hopes that the company’s managers will cultivate both internal and external qualities, approach the training with high quality and stringent standards, study diligently, think critically, unite as one, strive for excellence, and achieve win-win outcomes in the future.
The training program is divided into six sessions, with a focus on enhancing managerial capabilities and fostering effective communication. It features specialized courses designed to systematically improve execution skills, communication techniques, goal-setting and achievement, team building, and the development and coaching of subordinates.
Managerial Role Perception:
Clearly define the manager’s role as a bridge between higher and lower levels within the organization: as the manager’s proxy, they must think from the perspective of the organization’s leaders, aligning their actions with organizational objectives while maximizing their own interests. At the team level, managers should effectively fulfill five key roles, respect individuality, build high-performing teams, and measure true leadership by their ability to inspire and gain the commitment of their followers.
Leadership Development:
This course teaches managers the definition of leadership and how to leverage it to set direction, formulate strategy, motivate and inspire employees, and guide the entire organization in delivering superior performance. Leadership is a form of influence; leading is essentially an influence process—the art or practice of inspiring people to willingly and passionately strive toward the achievement of organizational goals.
Subordinate Training and Coaching
The development of an enterprise hinges on fully tapping the potential of its talent and aligning that potential with the organization’s goals. The most effective way for managers to free themselves is by cultivating their direct reports, fostering their self-directed learning, and enhancing their job performance—thereby ensuring the enterprise’s healthy and sustainable growth.
Effective Communication Skills
Effective communication is a two-way, interactive process aimed at achieving specific objectives by conveying information, ideas, and emotions between individuals or groups and reaching mutually beneficial agreements. At its core, it involves harnessing positive inner energy to solve problems, fostering empathy and shared understanding, and ensuring that tasks are communicated in the most efficient manner possible to drive goal attainment.

It involves top-down goal setting, bottom-up goal adjustments, and cross-functional goal alignment.

We must cultivate a positive, high-energy corporate team culture by aligning team behavior with the company’s core values through leadership, setting clear departmental objectives, prioritizing teamwork, strengthening cohesion, and minimizing internal friction. Managers should enhance overall coordination, effectively mobilize all stakeholders, create synergies across functions, and ensure that project tasks are fully implemented.
Teacher Li Gang is enthusiastic and delivers the course with a smooth, well-paced flow, fostering a harmonious classroom atmosphere. He enriches the instruction with numerous vivid and practical case studies that help participants gain a deep understanding and reinvigorate their spirits. Through interactive Q&A sessions, he enables all learners to consolidate and deepen their existing knowledge. Participants highly value every learning and training opportunity, engaging thoughtfully and actively in class. Starting from the details and guided by the learning objectives, they have come to recognize the gaps in their past communication skills and are committed to applying what they have learned and reflected upon in their future work.
The training program was successfully concluded on January 9, 2021. Teacher Li Gang presented awards and honorary certificates to the top-performing trainees and teams based on their outstanding performance and high evaluation scores. Trainees are expected to integrate the current departmental situation and their respective business characteristics, effectively apply the management skills acquired during the training, and ensure the successful achievement of all company performance targets despite the current tight delivery schedules and heavy workloads. Managers must always align their efforts with the company’s development goals—going beyond mere effort to give their all—and proactively enhance their overall competence and professional expertise to realize sustainable development for both the company and its employees.
