        In order to optimize the core process of the enterprise and shape a customer-oriented, data-based and "zero defect" management culture, ASimCO Camshaft (Yizhong) Co., Ltd. launched the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training camp on November 10, 2023. This training invited Yu Xuan, a black belt master certified by ASQ of American Society for Quality, to give a lecture to our company. The 30 trainees who participated in the training were from the departments of process, quality, production, finance, human resources, etc., hoping to promote effective communication, cross-departmental teamwork, solve problems together and improve work efficiency through the five-day study.

        At the Kick-off meeting, Qian Jun, Director of personnel Administration, made an opening statement on the training project: He took the experience of participating in the training for many times as the carrier, encouraging young students not only in the training period, but also in the work to pay attention to team building, pay attention to learning and communication. Six Sigma is a management idea that integrates advanced management concepts, methods and tools. I hope students can make good use of this opportunity to learn to use scientific methods, systematic thinking, and accurately solve problems in practical work.

        At the beginning of the training, Teacher Yu Xuan first introduced the course modules and themes:
        Phase I: Lean Six Sigma Overview and process management definition;
        Phase II: Minitab basic operation, probability and mathematical statistics, measurement system analysis;
        Phase III: Lean analysis and hypothesis testing;
        Phase 4: Design test DOE basis
        Phase 5: Site control visual pyramid, DFSS design.
     

        Six Sigma methodology and its tools are taught along the D-M-A-I-C (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) project improvement paths. From systematic learning to practical training, from basic to certification, full and compact design course content.
 

        Through a variety of teaching methods, such as scenario exercise, case analysis, group games, sandtable experience, etc., we will stimulate students' interest and courage, devote themselves to the course learning, and bravely express their own consciousness and opinions. At the same time, teacher Yu Xuan takes the training effect as the output, and uses the points system and the way of questioning to ensure that the students can take the initiative to master the theoretical knowledge, and skillfully use various tools of measurement and statistics.
