To create a strong atmosphere throughout the city in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and to develop artistic platforms for studying Party history, Yizheng City has meticulously staged the large-scale modern Yang opera “Jiang Jie” and incorporated it into the programs for Party history study and education as well as the mass-themed publicity and education campaign “Forever Follow the Party.” Our Party branch has actively responded to the call from higher authorities by organizing 20 Party members to attend a performance of “Jiang Jie” at 7:00 p.m. on July 9, 2021, thereby fully leveraging the educational and promotional impact of traditional culture in Party history study activities. Visiting Red Memories and Promoting the Revolutionary Spirit — The CPC ASIMCO Camshaft Party Branch Visits and Studies the Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Huanghuatang

On July 4, to mark the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, a delegation of more than 20 members from the CPC branch of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. visited the Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Huanghuatang, Xuyi, to revisit the revolutionary past and undergo a spiritual cleansing. This was not only a red tourism trip but also a journey of soul purification. The four exhibition halls of the Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Huanghuatang showcased, through extensive historical documents, precious revolutionary relics, and numerous little-known news photos and materials from the New Fourth Army era, the remarkable achievements of the New Fourth Army headquarters during its time in Huanghuatang—strategizing between humble thatched cottages and securing victory across the country. In the historical exhibition hall, visitors listened attentively to the docent’s explanation of the glorious history and fine traditions of the New Fourth Army while carefully examining the valuable photographs, artifacts, and documents on display. Everyone was deeply moved by the arduous and extraordinary struggles of the New Fourth Army back then. Seeing the crude and simple daily necessities as well as the many artifacts used by the army headquarters, medical units, and ordnance factories at the time, they were profoundly touched by the revolutionary spirit of the martyrs who overcame countless difficulties and persevered to the end. Through this visit and study, participants gained a deeper understanding that the history of this “red iron army” is a living chronicle of the people’s armed forces, as well as a heroic and tragic chapter in the War of Resistance Against Japan and the national liberation movement. By revisiting history and reflecting on the present, the party members reaffirmed their oath of joining the Party in front of the solemn New Fourth Army Memorial Hall. Congratulations to Comrade Li Yunlei on being elected as a delegate to the Yizheng Municipal Party Congress for 2021.

Li Yunlei, female, joined ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. in 2006. In October 2010, she was admitted to the Communist Party of China through the Party branch of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd., and became a full member in 2011. She currently holds a management position in the Technical Department. According to the unified arrangement of the Party Working Committee of the Automotive Industrial Park and the provisions of the “Election Measures,” after careful deliberation and recommendation by the branch committee, public announcement for inspection, and democratic election—all conducted in a fair and impartial manner—and following multiple rounds of evaluation and review, she was ultimately elected as a delegate to the CPC Yizheng Municipal Congress in 2021. Comrade Li Yunlei is of upright character, diligent in her studies, gentle and friendly, and always willing to help others. While continuously improving her professional title, she also frequently encourages and guides the surrounding process engineers to grow and make progress together. During her spare time, she joined the city’s youth volunteer team and often participates in charitable activities, contributing to social welfare causes. On April 20, 2021, the Party branch of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. held a conference on studying the history of the Party, with 15 on-duty Party members participating in the study activity and actively responding to General Secretary Xi’s call: “Study history to understand principles, strengthen faith, cultivate morality, and put knowledge into practice.” At the meeting, the ideological guidelines for Party building work in April were read out: all Communist Party members should demonstrate absolute loyalty by “following the Party wholeheartedly,” a people-oriented commitment by “taking the people’s interests as their own,” and a fighting spirit of “pressing forward despite difficulties,” so that the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics will become ever broader, and outstanding achievements will be presented to mark the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. July 1, 2020 marked the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and on that afternoon, the Party branch of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. held a themed event titled “Revisiting the Oath of Joining the Party, Firmly Upholding Rational Beliefs” to celebrate the 99th anniversary. First, all party members reviewed the development history of the Communist Party of China, studied the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches in recent years, and revisited the oath of joining the party.
