Company Organizes Employees to Donate Blood Voluntarily and Show Compassion

In response to the government’s call and in fulfillment of their civic duty, on the morning of August 20, ASIMCO Camshaft joined forces with the Yizheng Blood Collection Station of the Yangzhou Central Blood Station to organize a voluntary blood donation campaign for employees titled “Voluntary Blood Donation, Sharing Love.” The inaugural event successfully recruited 11 donors, who collectively donated a total of 3,700 milliliters of blood. At 8:00 a.m., the blood donation vehicle arrived at the company. After all preparatory work was completed, employees undergoing blood donation carefully filled out registration forms, had their blood pressure measured, and provided blood samples for testing under the guidance of blood station staff. Only those whose blood tests met the required standards were allowed to proceed with voluntary blood donation. Among the participants were both long-serving veterans and newly hired employees. Liu Ying, an accountant in the metalworking workshop, has taken part in voluntary blood donation for three consecutive years. This time, she also voluntarily registered with the Chinese Marrow Donor Program, becoming a volunteer hematopoietic stem cell donor. She stated that she is always ready to donate hematopoietic stem cells to patients with severe blood disorders. Employees who participated in the voluntary blood donation expressed that donating their own blood can help patients in urgent need of treatment, making it a benevolent act that benefits the country, the people, and themselves—and it is also the duty of every citizen. When they received their own bright-red donation certificates, the nervous expressions on their faces gave way to looks of fulfillment and happiness. Director Wang from the blood station explained that blood donation can stimulate the activity of hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow, promote metabolism, enhance one’s own blood-forming function, and improve blood circulation. Moreover, by helping others, it achieves two benefits in one—so the more one does, the better. He hopes that in the future more employees will actively participate in blood donation activities to help even more people.

On June 20, ASIMCO Camshaft held its inaugural Employee Family Open Day during the traditional Dragon Boat Festival. More than 140 employees’ family members visited the company’s office building and production facilities, gaining firsthand experience of their loved ones’ work and living environments. Just after 8:00 a.m., employees and their relatives began arriving at the company one after another, posing for photos in front of an archway emblazoned with “ASIMCO Camshaft Welcomes You.” Colorful banners fluttered along both sides of the company’s main avenue, while LED screens displayed the company’s vision and welcoming messages. Joy was evident on the faces of every employee and their family members, as company leaders warmly welcomed everyone at the factory gate. During the event, employees and their relatives toured the product exhibition area, production workshops, office buildings, employee cafeteria, and staff lounges. The employees’ family members praised the company’s clean and well-organized working environment, with many expressing admiration. Throughout the visit, they paused to carefully explore the company’s history and development, learning about its products and market presence. Upon discovering that the company’s products are exported to developed countries in Europe and North America, they couldn’t hide their pride. Family members lingered at photo displays showcasing the company’s various activities, commending its rich corporate cultural initiatives. ASIMCO Camshaft’s Fourth Outdoor Team-Building Event Successfully Held

To effectively enhance the team spirit and execution capabilities of grassroots managers and build high-performing teams, on May 24, 2015, ASIMCO Camshaft organized the fourth outdoor team-building training session, themed “Sailing Together in the Same Boat, Braving the Waves for a Journey of Ten Thousand Li.” Nearly forty employees from various roles—including production, maintenance, engineering, and quality—participated in this event. At 8:30 a.m., amid an exciting and lively team-building and ice-breaking ceremony, the training camp officially kicked off. Over the course of the entire day, activities such as the High Wire Bridge, Tram Ride, and The Power of Breathing distilled many of the complex management challenges and process execution issues encountered in daily work into tangible, thrilling games that tested both wisdom and courage. Participants competed not only for victory or defeat but, more importantly, for what they could gain from the experience—what insights they could draw, how their previous working methods and behavioral patterns had hindered their performance, and how distortions in communication up and down the hierarchy affected execution. Through these scenario-based simulations, employees were able to better understand themselves, improve themselves, and strengthen teamwork. Team members from different departments and positions consistently worked together in unity, supporting and encouraging one another, thereby deepening their interpersonal connections. Each team-building activity is more than just a simple sport or game; it is a cultural tradition, a spiritual legacy, and a set of guiding principles that inspire reflection and enlightenment. Of course, it also teaches us to always maintain a grateful heart and to recognize the selfless help and support we receive from our families, colleagues, leaders, and friends in both our professional and personal lives.

In the crisp, golden autumn of October, at 8:00 a.m. on October 18, 2014, the 12th Employee Sports Meet hosted by Yizheng ASIMCO Shuanghuan was solemnly inaugurated at the Yizheng City Stadium to the rousing strains of the national anthem. Mr. Wu Yingxue, General Manager of Yizheng ASIMCO Shuanghuan, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and officially declared the games open. ASIMCO Camshaft, as one of the 17 participating teams, was invited to take part in this year’s event. The sports meet featured track and field events such as the men’s and women’s 100 meters, the men’s and women’s 4x100 meters relay, the women’s 800 meters, and the men’s 1500 meters, as well as game-based competitions including tug-of-war, jump rope, “Working Together,” “Four People, Five Feet,” “Abundant Wealth,” and “Crossing the River by Feeling for Stones.” Around 9:00 a.m., with the sound of the starting gun, the various events commenced one after another. The athletes were full of energy and vigor, displaying outstanding athletic spirit. On the field, the competing teams worked closely together; off the field, the cheerleaders cheered enthusiastically, creating an electric atmosphere that made the competition both intense and enjoyable. In the morning’s track and field events, the Camshaft team, with their spirited fighting attitude and tenacious perseverance, secured impressive third-place finishes in the men’s 100 meters and men’s 1500 meters. In the afternoon’s game competitions, the athletes were equally determined and unafraid of their opponents. They linked arms, put shoulders together, and clasped each other’s waists, moving forward hand in hand, cooperating with one another, and running with all their might. Although their eagerness sometimes caused them to stumble, they did not lose their composure; instead, they quickly got up, made a brief adjustment, and continued on. Some shouted in unison, “One, two! One, two!” marching in perfect rhythm, while others coordinated so seamlessly that they seemed to be flying across the finish line, leaving their opponents far behind… The Camshaft team went on to win first place in four events: group jump rope, single-leg train race, “Abundant Wealth,” and “Crossing the River by Feeling for Stones.” After a day of fierce competition, the Camshaft team ultimately achieved an outstanding second-place finish in the overall team standings. Though the event was short, it left everyone with countless smiling faces, bursts of laughter, and unforgettable scenes of unity and hard work… At 4:00 p.m., the 12th Employee Sports Meet of Yizheng ASIMCO Shuanghuan came to a successful close.

Sincere Hearts Forge Hope, Compassion Transmits Life — A Record of ASIMCO Camshaft Employees Raising Funds for an Employee’s Sick Child

As of the afternoon of September 18, the trade union of ASIMCO Camshaft (Yizheng) Co., Ltd. had received more than RMB 27,000 in charitable donations from all employees. Everyone generously contributed, demonstrating mutual assistance and love—a touching ode to the spirit of solidarity among “Camshaft people”! Fate is merciless: Xiao Yuxuan is suffering terribly from illness. Wu Yuxuan, a 12-year-old girl and a sixth-grader at Zhenzhou Primary School in Yizheng, has a father, Wu Chunyun, who works as an operator in the metal-processing workshop of ASIMCO Camshaft Yizheng Co., Ltd. In early 2013, Wu Chunyun noticed that his daughter had difficulty and weakness when using chopsticks to pick up food. In March, after undergoing an MRI at the Municipal People’s Hospital, doctors recommended seeking treatment at a higher-level hospital. She was subsequently taken to several hospitals in Yangzhou, Nanjing, and other cities, but no definitive diagnosis could be made. As fate would have it, misfortune struck unexpectedly: in July this year, disaster mercilessly befell little Yuxuan. During treatment at Huashan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai, she was diagnosed with malignant glioma. This devastating news dealt a heavy double blow—both psychological and financial—to the family. To pay for her treatment, the family has already spent over RMB 60,000; currently, Yuxuan’s condition continues to worsen, requiring surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. The exorbitant costs of subsequent treatment have become an unbearable burden for the entire Wu family. Boundless love: the torch of compassion passes through Camshaft… Illness is cruel, but humanity is kind. Upon learning of the Wu family’s plight, the company’s trade union immediately sprang into action, organizing a fundraising campaign for Yuxuan and issuing a call to all employees titled “True Love Endures, Life Is a Song.” This initiative garnered widespread attention across the company. To help the Wu family overcome their current difficulties, everyone in the company responded enthusiastically to the union’s donation appeal. Leaders at all levels took the lead in donating, and employees participated eagerly, contributing RMB 50, 100, 300… One donation after another, filled with heartfelt care, quickly poured into the union’s fund. Particularly heartwarming was the immediate participation of frontline workers, some of whom even emptied their pockets to make contributions. Every small act of kindness added up, and in just two days the union collected a total of RMB 27,065. Responsibility, Collaboration, Confidence — ASIMCO Camshaft Successfully Holds the Third Team-Building Training

It is a beautiful season when spring is in full bloom and all things are reviving. To enhance the team’s combat effectiveness, on April 22, 2012, the company organized a one-day team-building training session for a total of 38 participants, including production workshop team leaders, maintenance personnel, and some department staff, at the Runyang Bridge Team-Building Base. Throughout the event, the team members were highly motivated and the atmosphere was lively, actively engaging in experiential training activities such as high-altitude bar grip, life-and-death electric fence, trust fall, 5-minute challenge, and wall-climbing. The combination of education and entertainment brought joy and enlightenment to the team members. Through this activity, everyone gained a deeper understanding of “communication, trust, collaboration, responsibility, and challenge” within the team. After the event, each participant reflected deeply on the team-building experience, and the team spirit was further strengthened through mutual adjustment and cooperation. During the activity, we witnessed not only the team members’ hesitation when challenging themselves, but also their confidence after success; we saw not only their joy at the team’s achievements, but also the wisdom and effort they put in.
